Originally clicked and uploaded by - Pratosh Dwivedi - 1st Nov'08Orchids is one of the most famous species of flowering plants. I got a chance to shoot some of them at the orchid nursery in Xcaret. There were so many different kinds of Orchids there & each one of them so was beautiful that I can dedicate one post to all of them. These brownish-yellow ones were my favorites among them all.
Did you know that the "Vanilla" flavor comes from a famous orchid called Vanilla Planifolia
