A sea side, on top of the rocks cottage in Puerto Vallarta ... a really nice place to spend a weekend. Unfortunately could only have a look and take a photo ... was staying in the hotel next door ;)

650 - 6th - Ya llegamos!!

Originally clicked and uploaded by - Pratosh Dwivedi - 6th Jan'11

Ya llegamos - which literally means "We reached!!" in spanish was exactly the expression of relief when I entered the city of Puerto Vallarta after a long drive of almost 5 hours from the city of Guadalajara. Long curvy highways and the last part only two laned, did make the journey really tiring.

But once there, I knew some really sunny and relaxed days at the beach are waiting for me :)

649 - 5th - The long road ahead

Originally clicked and uploaded by - Pratosh Dwivedi - 5th Jan'10

Somewhere on the highway between Guadalajara and Puerto vallarta I came across this long straight (well almost straight) highway extending away into the horizon. The surrounding were lush green and the sky above with a tinge of cool blue ...

And not to forget, a volkswagen "vocho" a couple hundred meters ahead of me ;)

647 - 3rd - The morning colors

Originally clicked and uploaded by - Pratosh Dwivedi - 3rd Jan'11

After a late night at the downtown I had barely opened my eyes when I saw the golden sun rays of the morning sun entering through the window. I removed the curtains and although it wasnt too bright outside, the horizon looked awesomely colorful.

646 - 2nd - Off to Tequila

Originally clicked and uploaded by - Pratosh Dwivedi - 2nd Jan'10

Took this photo just before boarding the 'Tequila Express' in Guadalajara. The train takes you to an interesting trip to one of the factories in the town of 'Tequila'. Yes, the drink is named after the town :). Unlimited Tequila cocktails are served during the journey and the environment is further enriched by fabulous mariachi music.
