This flower resembled a "multi-shoot" gun barrel of a military warship when I first saw it. Numerous empty barrels in concentric circles, ready to spit fire. Actually it is an empty dried shell of a flower which was baked by the heat of the sun. But it certainly doesn't look any less attractive after its death too. Beauty they say, is in the eyes of the beholder & certainly in the lens of my camera :)
